Description
This whisky is made from malted barley and aged in oak barrels for 12 years. It has a fruity taste with a Sherried character and a chocolate taste. It is warm and lasts long.
Aberlour 12 Year Old is "double cask matured" incorporating both ex-bourbon casks and ex-sherry butts. This Speyside Single Malt is soft and rounded with fruity notes of red apple. A fine Sherried character, fruity aromas balanced with rich chocolate and warm and lingering sweet spice.
Nose: Soft and rounded, with fruity notes of red apple.
Palate: A fine sherried character, balanced with rich chocolate, toffee, cinnamon and ginger spiciness.
Finish: Sweet and slightly spicy.Warming and lingering.
